Since I became diagnosed with the overgrowth of the candida fungus, I decided to write a little about this topic.
Candida albicans is a yeast found in our intestinal tract in a natural and healthy state. Under normal circumstances, it is not a problem because of the intestinal bacterial flora, microorganisms, and probiotic substances controlled under control. However, if there is damage to the intestinal bacterial flora (for example, it can cause by prolonged antibiotic treatment) Candida proliferates and fading the body: from the intestine it reaches into the mouth, the pharynx and the mucous membrane of the genital organs, and there may be an infection in the absence of “good” bacteria.
What can make a mess off the balance of intestinal flora?
Candida is a disease in the welfare states: in most cases, this disease caused by inappropriate nutrition. In developed countries, most people eat fast food, hamburgers, and coke. Contain white flour, yeast, sugar, and various preservatives. This type of nutrition is capable of destroying the walls of the immune system and allowing the infection to spread freely within the body.
Many cosmetic products can also trigger Candida disease, as they often destroy the natural bacterial climate of the skin, so the enemies of Candida disappear with one stroke.
If the antibiotics used irresponsibly and excessively, the consequence would be that the natural bacterial flora damages the intestine, and therefore, the Candida fungus begins to multiply. Besides, antibiotics destroy microorganisms and thus produce a kind of dead tissue that serves as an excellent nutrient for Candida.
Synthetic lingerie can also cause the disease, as artificial fiber does not allow the skin to breathe, which makes it particularly susceptible to Candida infection.
Of course, the stressful lifestyle also significantly contributes to the growth of Candida. If we are always tense, it weakens our immune system, which is very beneficial for the growth of Candida. If we replace sleep and rest to energy drinks because of the power constraint, it also leads to the degradation of the immune system.
Symptoms of disease
We have already examined the factors that can trigger Candida overgrowth. Now is the time to look at the problems if this fungal overgrowth in the body.
Candida is considered to be a great illusionist of diseases, as it can cause any disease: as it can multiply in every stuff, it is capable of producing all existing symptoms. That’s why it often scares the professionals, as it may seem like a simple food allergy or even a skin disease at first sight. At first, its sacrifices feel bad, but they do not know what the root cause of this is. Later their condition may deteriorate further.
Hippocrates has also noted that the most common symptoms of Candida include various rashes and flux and vaginal inflammation in women. In spite of all this, the disease is usually diagnosed late today, which is due to the rapid spread of Candida: it is capable of producing colonies anywhere in the body, leading to lesions and diseases at any point in the body. Let us first look at the most common symptoms of the disease.
The patient complains of constant illness, but there is no real reason for this, and the various treatments do not work. As a result of the weakened immune system, the patient suffers from lethargy, tired, sick, and exhausted. More and more forgetful, scattered, and more uncertain. An individual struggling with Candida is very easy to get out of the peace of mind because due to the general feeling of discomfort, the tolerance threshold is much lower.
If Candida multiplies in the digestive tract, the patient may experience heartburn, abdominal bloating, and gas formation. But there may also be abdominal pain, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, or constipation. Even if the disease becomes more severe and gastric ulcer and colitis can occur.
Many female problems can cause this disease: flushing, burning, itching, but frequent rashes and cystitis are not rare. The Candida patient can produce PMS symptoms, and her periods become irregular. In more severe cases, the lining of the uterus may ignite, and cysts may develop in the ovary.
Candida can also cause skin problems: rash, itchy skin, redness. May cause prostatitis in men, hyperactivity, insomnia, and learning difficulties in children.
It can produce vision loss, muscle pain, trigger allergic reactions, hair loss, weight loss.
Of course, this was not the case with my weight loss. The only good thing would have been if I lost weight. 🙂
We can see that the symptoms of this disease are very diverse. If you experience any of these, you should investigate yourself with a doctor, and if you do not find any organ changes, you should suspect Candida.
The base of the Candida diet
If you diagnosed with Candida, you need to know that it will not be easy to get rid of it. To repair the damaged immune system within 3-6 months and to squeeze the fungus back to normal. A year ago, I diagnosed with candida, and I still have but less. My aunt had suffered four years before she got rid of her.
You need to pay attention to your nutrition because Candida diet needs to be suppressed to overcome the disease. But let’s see what we need to pay attention to during the menu.
In the first month, we need to follow a strict, yeast, and carbohydrate-free diet.
For a month, avoid all sources of sugar, especially those quickly released (white, yellow sugar, candy, sweets, soda, etc.), including fruits.
Because sugar and yeast are the primary feeds of Candida, this month cut the fungus from the primary source of food. In these weeks, the consumption of fruits should avoid as they contain a lot of fruit sugar.
We should avoid greasy, spicy, and hard digestion food.
Avoid foods that contain yeast and mushrooms, as is soy sauce, tofu, dried fruit. Forget about alcohol, vinegar, aerated drinks, canned juices.
Consume vegetables (garlic, onion, cabbage, broccoli, radish), wholegrain cereals, oilseeds, bone fruits, toast, brown rice, or basmati rice. To achieve the specific taste and smell of basmati rice, prepare it most efficiently. Cook a certain amount of rice (according to the manufacturer’s instructions), add the vegetables as desired, season with two tablespoons of olive oil, sea salt, and pepper.
Take ten days of 10 drops of grapefruit extract twice a day. Increase intake of foods rich in vitamin C. It is consuming seasonal foods rich in vitamin C: green leafy vegetables, turnip greens, parsley, grape leaves, green peppers, broccoli, tomatoes. Keep in mind that a higher amount of vitamin C in non-cooked foods. Eat with each meal a fresh seasoned salad. It is preferable for vegetables to stew, not to cook. Avoid keeping food in the heat or warming them up.
It can be helpful anti-candida soup:
In a bowl, you should pour four cups of water and add two small chopped onion heads and four sliced garlic. Then, it should be allowed to boil and cook on a low heat for another ten minutes. Add a little sage, thyme, minced cloves, sea salt.
It is also essential to know that preserved products should avoid because they often kept with honey or sugar or other harmful additives.
And remember, the more often you expose the impact of fresh air, water, and sunlight. In a short time, you will feel much better!
IMPORTANT WARNING! Before starting a Candida diet, always ask your general practitioner, doctor, or your gynecologist’s opinion about the need to start a diet. For the possible effects and risks!

Coconut oil against candida
During the Candida diet, we need to use cold pressed oils, as they do not serve as a nutrient for fungi. However, it is best to replace our edible oils with coconut oil. Why?
A significant difference between coconut oil and other edible oils observed: while in general, the edible oils composed of long-chain fatty acids, the coconut oil has medium-long carbon chains. These medium-chain triglycerides are excellent for destroying the Candida fungus. And because this oil solidified at room temperature, it can be used instead of butter and margarine, and it is recommended to use it.
Coconut oil is also a great fit to cure Candida fungus infections, as it contains many substances – including caprylic acid and lauric acid – which effectively treat these troubles.
How to choose the right coconut oil?
We know that there are several types of coconut oil available on the shelves: cold pressed, virgin, and refined. Cold pressed, and virgin oil has not undergone a refinery, bleach, and odorless process, nor cold pressed even heat treatment. These two variants contain the most caprylic acid and lauric acid, so they are most active at killing the fungus off. However, it is also important to note that these variants are not always suitable for cooking and baking, because precisely because of these acids they have an intense coconut aroma, which often gives an extra flavor or fragrance to our food. Although the refined version has smaller amounts of these beneficial acids, this type is tasteless and odorless, making it perfect for any meal. That is, it is recommended to obtain the refined version for cooking and baking. But, in all other cases, use the cold-pressed version, which contains 100% of the desirable properties of coconut.
All in all, I’ve come to realize that the real diet for me is Chrono diet. Some foods had to be changed. Some ingredients had to replace, but everything was perfect for my health. My family has not Candida so that they can eat some foods. Therefore I prepare a lot of meals for them, and I share with you.
If you have or had a Candida disease, please share with me your experiences. How can you get rid of it?
