Hi everyone and welcome to my Chrono Diet website. Health is essential for all of us because if I’m sick, I’m unhappy.

My name is Tina. I’m 42 years old mother with five children. One of them is my son the other four kids I’m raising. As I love children, I’m a social worker for caring about children who haven’t parented. I love my job especially when I see kids are happy when they get help.

A little story about my health:

I have been sick for many years, and it can be 20 years for a doctor to find my real illness.

Before they found what was wrong, I was treated with all kinds of drugs that made my condition worse. I had a daily headache, and I could not concentrate on beautiful things in life. I didn’t wear any pants which is a bit tricky, because my stomach hurt. Had very high blood pressure and I lost my babies six times.

Eight months ago I went to a private doctor and finally my 20 years off misery have been resolved. In 3 days she found that I have too much candida albicans. All the medicine was taken from me except blood pressure lowering. I had to be on a diet which means no sugar, no milk and dairy products, no white flour, no yeast, and some fruits.

So, Tina is given the lesson.

I realize that there is no one diet right for everyone and that, in the end, you have to follow your own body. And, before going on an extreme diet, you need to get a medical checkup.

Finding the best diet

Recently I adjusted my diet even further after I discovered the Chrono-Nutrition Diet by Dr. Alain Delabos, a French nutritionist/doctor and Director of Clinical Research at the IREN (Institut de Recherche Europeéen sur la Nutrition). His goal is to eat well and to find your correct weight, not necessarily to lose it. He’s written several books published only in French, including Mincir sur mesure, a 2005 book which explains his theories in depth.

What I like about Chrono diet is that it based on one general principle so that I can easily remember it. Our bodies digest each food group most efficiently at a specific time of the day. So, all food groups are beneficial when eaten according to the biological clock in our body. Each food group has a time of day when our body burns the nutrients for energy instead of stocking them away as fat, or worse—the C word. Cellulite.

After two weeks I felt better, and now I don’t use any drug for my headache because I haven’t anymore. I still have candida albicans but not too much.

A strict diet must keep leading to success. But how can I be happy if I can not eat what I love? First 2 weeks was hard for me. My family eats everything, and I watch them. I switched to the chrono diet the whole family step by day so that it was almost unnoticed. They loved it slowly, and today they only like what I cook.

I’ll not only give you the main lines, but I’ll also tell how I’ve adjusted them for me.

Chrono diet rules

Much of the content that I’m going to be discussing here is going to center around improving your health at home — focusing on your motivation.

I am not a professional chef, dietician, medical professional, or nutritionist. This blog is a reflection of my opinions and general knowledge that I’ve gained from personal experience and information I’ve come across, and it’s accurate to the best of my knowledge. My recipes should be taken as a guideline only, and your best judgment should be used to ensure the food is safely prepared and/or a good fit for your diet. They say perfect recipes and guides

There is no ideal recipes and guides. You must find what is best for you.  If you are going a wrong way and you are not being produced using the allotted time that you have.

Most diets that either restrict calories or limit one of the three macronutrients: carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. The chrono diet allows you to eat most foods as long as they are eaten at the appropriate times throughout the day. There is no calorie counting.

So I have a look around, and if you ever have anything to share in respect to building your own healthy life, I would love to hear it.
